PUMA celebrates Ntini’s 100th test

PUMA have produced a pair of embroidered “100th Test” boots for Makhaya Ntini to wear in the test currently being played against England. Ntini became only the fifth South African, after Jacques Kallis, Mark Boucher, Shaun Pollock and Gary Kirsten, to play in 100 test matches. To show their support for the achievement, PUMA also produced limited edition 100th Test t-shirts which they supplied to Ntini’s fans to wear at the ground.

Some of Ntini’s career highlights include being the only South African cricketer to have taken 10 wickets (five in each innings) at Lord’s and being the second highest wicket taker in South African history with 388 wickets.

In the week preceding the test, fans also had the opportunity to meet and congratulate their hero during an autograph session at cricket specialist store Sports Horizons – pictured with him are Senzo and James Mullen (Puma), and Mike, Ryan and Dale Hermanson of Sports Horizons.
